Traditional Swedish Socks – Ringdans

This traditional Swedish woollen sock is knitted in the Ringdans design. This design is inspired by the traditional folk song ‘The maiden is dancing with red gull ribbons’ written by Hugo Alvfén, (1872 – 1960). Every Swedish child has sung this song during Christmas celebrations.

70% wool, 25 % polyamide and 5% elastin.
The couple that produce these socks, Ase and Ted, are passionate about keeping alive the traditional designs and ways of manufacturing and are based in Sweden. This pair of socks is great for walking and hiking in all year round as well as a cosy pair of socks for winter!
