Red Squirrel Hook

A favourite animal from the pine forests, the red squirrel is an animal that’s often portrayed as a trickster or messenger featuring in Norse mythology as the gossiping Ratatoskr on the world tree, or Celtic lore linking them to spirits, but they are also tied to English folklore (like the "squirrel hunt") and even superstitions about curing ailments. The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin is all about a mischievous red squirrel too. The hook can be used in a kitchen, hallway, nursery or any other useful place.
